 Captain Kris was raised in the Tampa Bay area, in Bradenton, Florida. Before he could even swim, Captain Kris was boating and fishing. Pursuing the passion he holds, Capt Kris has spent many days and nights fishing. Being very familiar with these waters, he fishes the waters surrounding Tampa Bay, Bradenton, and Sarasota as well as througout the Boca Grande Area.
Captain Kris' favorite of all is fishing for Tarpon because of the exhilaration of the strike to the end of the fight. See Capt Kris' video on the home page on Tarpon fishing. Captain Kris enjoys fishing with all walks of life, from children to families, and takes pleasure in teaching people that have never picked up a pole. He likes to share his knowledge and experience with people and even reveals the spots that can produce good fishing over and over again. From the time people get on the boat to the end of the charter, Capt Kris loves that sense of accomplishment he gets when he sees people take hold of the experience and improve their fishing skills throughout the day. Captain Kris purchased a 1972 222 Aquasport and has personally refurbished it. As you can see the transom was raised with a bracket bigger live well to accommodate the extra bait and a tower to hunt the fish down. He also replaced the motor with a quiet 4 stroke that is more reliable and economically friendly.
